HAPPY TWELFTH NIGHT - GET YER BAYOU TECHE ON! (Friday, 01.09.15 @ 8PM)

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Tonight marks the official beginning of carnival season, and we couldn't be happier that we managed to get our doors open in time to celebrate. And by way of celebration, how about we all kick of the season with a refreshing Courir de Mardi Gras from Bayou Teche? The latest addition to our tap list, this quencher is Bayou Teche's artisanal version of a French farmhouse style of ale known as a Biere de Mars, or March Beer. And it's available on draft at Junction - starting tomorrow!

"With origins  in rural and Medieval France, rural Cajun communities still celebrate the traditional Courir de Mardi Gras. Although there are variations, each Courir has a Le Capitaine who leads masked and costumed revelers on horseback to beg and gather ingredients for the large communal gumbo that lies at the end of their journey. A prized ingredient is a live chicken, which is often thrown into the air for the celebrants to chase through muddy fields."

Sounds like a good start to us. So good, that we're celebrating its arrival this Friday night at 8pm with members of the Bayou Teche team onsite to help usher in the shenanigans. You should totally be there too!
